To change the input on the display, press button (#3 in the figure below) and the input menu will appear. Use buttons #1 and #2 to highlight the correct input then press button #3 to select. At first it was giving an input not supported message on my monitor with a black screen, but after a couple reboots it started working. I installed all the needed drivers for the system as well as the gpu drivers through the AMD software. If it can be useful for anybody: I only had to unplug all the cables and keep the power button pressed for 30 seconds (not only 10, it didn't work!), then restart it normally.
