Multifactor dimensionality reduction m
Web3 aug. 2024 · Multifactor Dimensionality Reduction (MDR) is a data reduction method designed for use in studies examining the interactions among variables while accounting for difficulties inherent in interaction analysis (Ritchie et al., 2001). Initially created to support a small number of study designs, MDR has since been adapted for other types of studies. Web1 ian. 2014 · Here we introduce the multifactor dimensionality reduction (MDR) methodology and software package for detecting and characterizing epistasis in genetic association studies. We provide a general overview of the method and then highlight some of the key functions of the open-source MDR software package that is freely distributed.
